New Jersey Mob Boss Nuggy Jones and his main squeeze, the reigning Miss America, Margie Gorman pretend to make nice with Betty Heart and Charlie “Lucky Boy” Legiano

It was an era of rum running, gaming halls, speak easies and loan sharking…

…it was also a competitive and dangerous time for big city mob bosses.

When the crime kings of New York, Chicago and New Jersey came together on the Atlantic City Boardwalk to establish The Commission, someone was bound to leave in a Chicago Overcoat.

But who would it be?

  1. He has found his calling! I really like the look. Too bad he got knocked off, but I’ll join you in London!!

  2. It is little known that Geoffrey Earl Grog, after a brief stint in the U.S. Military, enrolled in the Dale Carnegie School of Acting. At the Aspen film festival in 1989 he was nominated for best supporting actor playing the gardener in “Murder He Thought”. He appeared in Saturday Night Live in 1992 playing the role of the sheriff in the film short “A Fistful of Ravioli”. Additionally, he has appeared in numerous television commercials in the Phoenix,AZ area. He is currently the spokesman for the Scottsdale Surgical Center. It is nice to see that he is keeping up with his art playing the role of Johny “The Fox” Torrian. Perhaps, someday he will be interviewed on Inside the Actors Studio….you never know.

    1. And the envelope please! Perhaps Turner Classic Movies will do a retrospective of his work…er…I mean Comedy Central. Let’s get Jamie Marion to work on it right away!

  3. Darn that Isabella Gorge….I was secretly in love with “the Fox”. Emma stood between our steamy relationship. I will miss Foxy. There is no doubt that Emma will be an extremely successful mystery novelist. Her talents will be recognized nationwide.

    1. Too funny! Emma dumped The Fox before he was killed. She’d heard the rumors of another woman…she never dreamed it was one of her oldest and dearest friends. Sigh.

  4. it was a fabulous night! made all the more fun by everyone getting into character and with so much method acting going on even unto the end – have a great Christmas guys and see you in the new year x
